Pasture, Rangeland, Forage (PRF)
A management tool offered by the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) for farmers/ranchers who rely on pasture, rangeland and forage for haying and/or grazing.  PRF policy covers from reduction in either the vegetative index or rainfall index.
Group Risk Income Protection (GRIP)
is designed as a risk management tool to insure against widespread loss of revenue from the insured crop in a county.
Yield Protection (YP)
A plan of insurance that only provides protection, against a production loss.
Revenue Protection (RP)
A plan of insurance that provides protection against loss of revenue due to a production loss, price decline or increase, or a combination of both.
Actual Production History (APH)
Most common plan of crop insurance.  Based off of producers production reported annualy by unit.
 Catastrophic (CAT)
Insures 50% of production at 55% of the base price for a fee of $300.
